Diabetic eye screening services
We are the UK’s leading independent provider of diabetic eye screening services. Our award-winning teams screen approximately 50,000 patients every month, supporting some of the largest screening programmes in the country. Using NEC OptoMize, we streamline each stage of the pathway while maintaining rigorous clinical governance and reporting standards.
We also deliver the National Diabetic Eye Screening Programme for the HSE in the Republic of Ireland, operating across 160 sites in 26 counties.
By working closely with primary care, hospitals and diabetes networks, our teams increase appointment uptake and help reduce inequalities in access to screening.
Newborn screening services
Our teams deliver newborn hearing screening services in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Using NEC technology and structured clinical pathways, 99.97% of eligible newborn babies are screened within three months of birth. Hearing loss is identified 37 days faster than the international standard, enabling earlier referral and earlier intervention for babies with moderate, severe and profound hearing loss.
Services are delivered across 1,000 locations in the UK and Ireland, ensuring consistent, accessible screening for families while maintaining robust governance and reporting standards.
